Let us pray,
O God, our life, our strength, our food, we give you thanks for sustaining us with the body and blood of your Son.  By your Holy Spirit, enliven us to be his body in the world, so that more and more we will give you praise and serve your earth and its many peoples, through Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord.  Amen.

Commissioning for Ministry
Since the Day of Pentecost of 2006
the inspired Vision of St. Paul’s Church is:
      To show the Transforming
Love and Justice of God in Action.
And the Mission of St. Paul’s Church is:
To be a Christ-Centered Community living out our Baptismal Covenant with Joy and Thanksgiving.
This Mission is characterized by:
Creative worship
in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
A radical hospitality that seeks
and serves Christ in all persons.
The value of family, tradition and community.
A commitment to educational
         and spiritual growth.
Service to our St. Paul’s family
         and the greater community.
In fulfilling our Vision and Mission we will:
Look to Christ for wisdom and strength.

Almighty God, we thank you for our communion in the household of faith with all who have been baptized into your name. Keep us faithful to our Vision and Mission, and so make us ready for that day when the whole creation shall be made perfect in your Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

Blessing
May the Spirit, who set the Church on fire upon the day of Pentecost, bring the world alive with the love of the risen Christ. And the blessing of God almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be among you and remain with you always. Amen.

Hymn: I Send you Out

The Scattering (Mark 4:20)
