ABORIGINAL SUNDAY - June 19th at Trinity United
- Trinity United and St. Paul’s Anglican churches together are holding a specially-themed joint worship service to observe Canada’s National Aboriginal Day (June 21.) The worship includes a sermon by Rt. Rev. Sue Moxley, former Bishop of the Diocese of NS & PEI, and a performance of Mi’kmaq Legends.
- The service will be at Trinity United Church on Sunday 19 June, starting at 10:30 am. There will be a special Sunday School class during the worship service featuring members of the Mi’kmaq Legends and children from St. Paul’s are welcome to attend. St. Paul’s offering envelopes will be collected and counted at St. Paul’s.
- An outdoor fair follows, with displays about Aboriginal issues and achievements, plus the treat of bannoch and molasses! Feel free to bring a lawn chair.
